Plot summaryEdit

Beth, Robin and Toni are attempting to put together a tribute in the wake of Inanna's death. Beth searches through Cassandra's old footage of Laura, who is also believed to have been killed by Baphomet, and finds footage of Laura summoning The Morrigan. Toni suggests they go to Urdr as she may feel guilty, since firing Beth prevented her from becoming one of the Norns. However, Beth refuses.

Left Behind, 7 August 2014Edit

The trio film the crowd gathered at the remains of Laura's house, and witness Baal arriving to pay his respects. While there, he mentions that he is hunting for Baphomet. Beth contacts Baal and offers him a deal: in return for an interview about Inanna, she will summon The Morrigan for him. He accepts, and admits in an interview that he loved Inanna.

Beth summons The Morrigan by leaping onto the Underground tracks, and The Morrigan reluctantly rescues her. Once she appears, Baal attacks her, demanding to know where Baphomet is. The Morrigan insists she doesn't know, but Baal continues to attack her, angry that The Morrigan helped Baphomet escape for long enough to kill Inanna and Laura.

Woden and two Valkyries arrive to prevent Baal from killing The Morrigan, and they take her to Woden's Valhalla. Beth is happy to learn that Robin and Toni captured the event on film. After they leave, Baphomet emerges from the shadows, retrieves a feather from one of The Morrigan's crows, and repeats "You or me? No choice. No choice at all."

The issue ends with a title card reading "The Queen is Dead", 7 August 2014.

Videogames #1Edit

This issue also includes a one-page Videogames short. Inanna is giving an interview on 25 May 2014. He discusses his regrets, and says that he is glad to have regrets, as they show that he cares.
