Ananke-spoiler "Once again, we return."

This article contains spoilers for 455 AD. Read at your own risk.

The Moirai are Greek Goddesses of fate and destiny, and are gods of the Recurrence. They are known to have appeared during the 450s Recurrence.

History[]

The Moirai died sometime before Lucifer’s takeover of Rome. Ananke claimed their fate was predestined; Lucifer disagreed and held Ananke responsible.

Powers & Abilities[]

As the Moirai (Atropos, Clotho and Lachesis) were Goddess of Fate and Destiny it is highly likely they possessed divine powers within these fields. We were unable to know for sure the full reach of their powers due to their death before their powers could be shown.

  • Power Bestowal/Hive Mind: It is unknown but yet highly likely that similar to the Norns there is a true Goddess of the Moirai who bestows powers and godhood to the other two.
  • Destiny Manipulation (possibility): As Fate Goddesses, the Moirai would have been able to manipulate probability fields to affect the outcome of destiny. The degree of this power for them would be known.
  • Life Manipulation: As Life Goddesses, Clotho and Lachesis would have been able to manipulate life as they desired to a degree.
    • Death Manipulation: As a Death Goddess, Atropos would have been able to manipulate death as she desired to a degree.
  • Divination: As Destiny Goddesses, the Moirai would have been able to see into the future.

Mythology[]

In Greek mythology, the Moirai, also known as the Fates, are three sisters who are the representations of destiny. They control the thread of life. Clotho spins the thread, Lachesis measures, and Atropos cuts it when it is time for a person to die. In some myths, they are the daughters of Ananke.
