Morpheus is the Greek Oneiroi God of dreams, sleep and the subconscious, and is one of the gods of the Recurrence. He is known to have appeared in the 1830s Recurrence.

History[]

Morpheus probably joined the Pantheon sometime in the early 1830s. He died upon witnessing a mysterious vision, which he attempted to explain to Lucifer (who had come to deliver opium) in a state of panic.

Powers & Abilities[]

As Morpheus was a God of the Dreams, Sleep and Prophecy it is highly likely he possessed divine powers within these fields. We were unable to know for sure the full reach of his powers due to his death before his powers could be shown. It was mentioned that he died from having a powerful vision, but this was lightly pushed off as drug overdose.

  • Hypnokinesis: As a Sleep God, Morpheus would have been able to manipulate the sleep patterns of others to use as he desired, even inducing sleep.
    • Oneirokinesis: As a Dream God, Morpheus would have been able to manipulate the dreams of others to use as he desired, even inducing appearing to others in their dreams.
  • Precognition: As a Prophecy God, Morpheus possessed the power to see into the future, it is unknown what level of control he had over this ability. It has also been said that this power might have been the cause his death.

Mythology[]

Morpheus is based on the Greek god of dreams.
